GEM Repair IQ (repairiq.gemsupply.net) is a service of GEM Supply Company, 1312 West Washington Street, Orlando, FL 32805. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and what we do with it. The "Text messages" section below also covers text messages sent by GEM Supply Company's other customer web apps, including GEM Inspection IQ.

What we collect

• What you tell us about your machine: make, model, serial number, what it is doing wrong, and the zip code where it sits.
• Photos you choose to upload of the machine and its data plate.
• Your contact details when you ask for an estimate, a part, or a visit: name, company, phone number and email address.
• Your email address or mobile number if you choose to save a visit to "My machines".
• The conversation you have with the assistant, so a GEM technician can read it.

How we use it

• To put together your repair estimate, quick fix suggestion or replacement recommendation.
• To have GEM customer care or a technician follow up with you about the repair, part or visit you asked for.
• To show you your machine's history when you sign in to "My machines".
• To send a one time sign in code by email or text message when you ask for one.

Photos and conversation text are processed by an AI service to read the data plate and understand the problem. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone outside GEM Supply Company and the service providers that run this site (web hosting, database, email and text message delivery, and the AI service).

Text messages

GEM Supply Company sends text messages only to people who opt in on one of our web apps, and only about that person's own activity:

• GEM Repair IQ (repairiq.gemsupply.net): if you enter your mobile number to save a visit or sign in, we send a one time 6 digit sign in code. That is the only kind of text message this site sends.
• GEM Inspection IQ: if you opt in after completing an inspection, we send a text when your inspection report has been emailed to you and a reminder on the day a scheduled follow up inspection is due.

We never send marketing or promotional text messages. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies and depends on how often you use the app. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data, consent, or mobile number with any third party; it is used only to send the messages described above through the service provider that delivers them on our behalf.

Keeping and deleting your information

Estimates and leads are kept so GEM can service your equipment and keep a history for you. To see, correct or delete your information, email customercare@gemsupply.net or call 800-422-9886.
